creative connecter

At Gav's trial the lawyer says that one of the victims was dressed like she was begging for it, and that is something that still happens today in trials. Lawyers keeps asking the question "what was she wearing" as if it was relevant. As if it's okay to rape someone based on what she is wearing.

At one point in the book Dale pretends that he isn't bothered by Sally and Hawthorne just because he doesn't want to satisfy them. I think most people have done something similar to this, including me.
